Commands

Scripts can register slash commands with ::rete::addcommand. The callback receives the remaining command text, the buffer ID, and the buffer name.

proc greet {params bufferId bufferName} {
::rete::msg $bufferName "Hello, $params!"
}
::rete::addcommand greet greet

Type /greet Alice to send a greeting to the current buffer. Custom commands appear in tab completion and are removed when the script is unloaded or reloaded.

See the scripting API for the complete existing reference, including command registration and the available Tcl helpers.

A complete native slash-command reference has not yet been supplied for this website. This section can be expanded directly in Markdown when that reference is available.
